Baby Pen and ink lesson

Using good quality art supplies makes a huge difference to your experience as an artist.

Cheap markers will leave streaks and lines. 

The good news is that a set of these markers is not so expensive that you will not want to use them.

If they are taken care of they will last a long time and bring hours of enjoyment.

There is also a fine point on one end and a chisel on the other so fine detail or blocking in a color can be done with one pen.

If you are using these with young children then you want to make sure the lids are on properly after use.  They need to be pushed on so you hear a click.  Little hands might not be able to push them on properly and if left they will dry up. 

1. A 12 pack of Prismacolor markers

2. A spiral bound sketch book

3. A Sharpie extra fine point black pen.  ( I buy these in packs of 12 as they are wonderful for writing with too). 

4. A pack of 8 1/2 by 11 white computer paper.
